What the warranty covers
The warranty covers defects in how we built your fence or gate. If one of these shows up in the first 10 years, we come back and make it right.
- Posts that lean, heave or loosen because of how they were set or braced.
- Rails, boards and wire that were fastened or tensioned incorrectly.
- Gates that sag, drag or fail to latch because of how they were hung.
- Corner and end assemblies that fail because of how they were built.
What the warranty does not cover
Every fence meets weather, animals and accidents. These causes sit outside a workmanship warranty, and the written terms spell them out.
- Storm, flood, fire or other damage from the weather.
- Impact from vehicles, equipment or fallen trees.
- Damage from animals or from someone climbing or leaning on the fence.
- Normal weathering of wood, such as graying, checking or minor cracks.
- Changes or repairs made by someone else.
- Materials covered by the maker's own warranty.

Questions we hear
How long is the Solid Rock Fencing warranty?
The workmanship warranty lasts 10 years from the day the job is finished. It covers defects in how we built the fence or gate. The full written terms come with your estimate.
Does the warranty cover storm damage?
No. Storm, flood, fire and impact damage are not workmanship defects, so they sit outside the warranty. We can still repair that damage as a separate job. Call us for a FREE estimate.
Does it cover wood that weathers or gray?
No. Wood weathers, grays and checks naturally. The warranty covers workmanship defects such as a post that was set badly, not normal aging of the material.
How do I make a claim?
Call (440) 241-4312, describe the problem and send photos if you can. We look at the fence with you, tell you if it is covered and make the repair if it is.
